An Appeal for Travel Support to join walk for Justice

Dear friends,

We urgently required financial support to secure travel fare for about 2000 satyagrahi’s to participate Jansatyagraha Padayatra from South India. Initially we were planning to mobilise 5000 satyagrahi’s from south India to participate the Jansatyagraha Padayatra and we realised that it is very difficult for us to arrange travel to Gwalior without tickets in the train. Based on the reality we have decided to reduce the number of satyagrahi’s from South India. Even though we have a list of about 2000 satyagrahi’s from Kerala and tamilnadu alone and they need travel support to reach Gwalior and back to their village. It is a crucial time for us; otherwise all our efforts for mobilization will become useless if satygrahis are not able to travel to Gwalior to join the padaytra of one lakh satygrahi’s.

Required Amount

Rupees 30 lakhs is required in total for 2000 satyagrhai’s (2000 persons x Rs.15,00/-) With Rs. 1500/ i.e. € 22/ £ 17.5 / 26.5 CHF/28 CAD/$28 donation, you can support one satyagrahi to reach Gwalior and back to village in an unreserved ordinary train. You can choose an amount that is comfortable for you to support as many satyagrahis.
